Horley Town Football Club
were originally known as Horley F.C. founded in 1896.  Affiliated to the Surrey FA the same year - 1896. In 1908 the club merged with Gatwick Rovers but only changed their name in 1975 to become Horley Town Football Club.

1984 Horley Town Football Club joined the Combined Counties League

but left in 1996 and were members of more local leagues until rejoining the Combined Counties League in 2003. (The Same year we moved to the New Defence.

2003 Horley Town moved from The Defence (which is now a conglomeration of private housing. Horley Town play their home matches at the New Defence which they moved to in 2003 (The Same year they once again joined the Combined Countues League)
